Tomorrow morning, during our morning carpool drop-off time in the undercover area, a team of our 6th Grade Girls will be holding a Donut Sale. Donuts are $ .25 each with all proceeds going to World Vision. Come with quarters in hand and receive a sweet treat!

Help Needed With Box Tops And Collection Ends May 23

Looking for a place to connect or get involved without a huge investment of time? Would you like to help West Hills Christian School benefit from free money? Join the Box Tops Team! Kris Hines and Heidi Golden need one more person who can count BoxTops during the school year. This is an easy job that can be done from home with no meetings and only a need to count 3-4 times during the year. Please email Heidi at hscovill2000@yahoo.com if you are interested!

Been cutting out and saving up those little pink Box Tops for Education labels? Now is the time to turn them in since we will only be collecting them through Thursday, May 23. This will be the last collection of the school year. The final results of this month’s collection will determine who wins the year end ice cream party! Right now Mrs. Davis’ 3rd Grade Class is in the lead, but there are four classes close behind (Mrs. Proulx – 5th; Mr. Middleton – 6th; Mr. Killian – 4th; and, Mrs. Piedra – 2nd). It’s still wide open and any class can still win! All you need to do is: Cut the Box Tops out, baggie them up, label the baggie with your child’s name and teacher and turn them into the designated barrel down by the kitchen. It’s just that easy! It’s FREE money for West Hills Christian School to utilize to make this a better place for your kiddos to go to school! Thanks for your support!

Last SCRIP Order Due Tomorrow, Friday, May 10

Tomorrow is the last SCRIP order for the school year! Here’s the link up to information and order forms! Benefit both your kiddos and West Hills Christian School by purchasing gift cards (SCRIP) to pay for the things you use every day (i.e., gas, restaurants, grocery stores, household care and upkeep, clothing, etc.). There’s no obligation or commitment, just a little planning ahead! You place your order (click the link above), your order comes back in a week, then you can use your gift cards (same as cash) to pay for the items you already use in everyday life. Easy as can be! Annual Book Swap Slated For Next Week, May 13-17

Get ready for summer reading with our Annual Book Swap! Next Monday through Friday, May 13-17, students can bring up to five high quality, “gently used” books from home to swap for other good books to read. Once books have been reviewed and approved by Mrs. Reichen, students will be able to choose books from the Book Swap table located in the front hall outside the Library. Book Swap hours: before and after school and during recess. Books should be at or above the student’s reading level so that there will be enough books for all grades levels. What a great way to stock up on summertime reading!

Our annual Soles2Souls 5k/10k Run/Walk is quickly approaching, and there are multiple ways for every family member to participate on Saturday, June 1:

Each year West Hills Christian School hosts three parent meetings which consist of important business and/or financial information, updates about the campus and events that are taking place, voting in new Board Members, etc. We like to think of it as “family” taking care of business really. Please join us this coming Monday evening. We’ll try to keep it under an hour because we know your time is precious. Your presence is most definitely valued! We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
