SCRIP Gift Card Image

SCRIP Orders Due Tomorrow – Friday, Sep. 30

Take advantage of our win-win SCRIP program, which are pre-purchased gift cards, used same-as-cash for vendors of all kinds.  Order from West Hills Christian School one week and get them the next.  It’s SO easy!  Have a look and order away (this link includes information about our SCRIP program, the “When Do I Order” SCRIP calendar and an order form pdf).  Insider Tip:  A percentage of your proceeds kick back to benefit West Hills Christian School students!  Parents of 4th-8th grade students – you’ll want to get on board because your child’s kick-back percentage goes to help off-set the costs of their Washington D.C. Trip their 8th grade year (like a savings account of sorts).  K-3rd parents – your money goes to benefit our student scholarship fund!  Now you know!

Kicking Off Kid Invest – Oct. 1st

Last year was our first annual school wide Kid Invest fundraiser! We raised over $80,000 and had over 60% of our families participate to support our wonderful school. This more than doubled the participation we had seen in the past. Looking forward to another great fundraiser, kicking off Saturday, October 1st!

PTF Meeting – Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1:00PM

What in the world does PTF stand for, you ask?  At West Hills Christian School, it stands for Parent Teacher Fellowship (similar to PTA in the public school system) and we’d love to invite any and all WHCS parents to join in.  PTF meets every other month on campus to connect and collaboratively plan!  Our parent community makes up such a large percentage of the heartbeat of our school and we are grateful for each one of you! Please join us next Tuesday!  We’ve got a lot on the ball and we know you have a lot to offer so have a LOOK SEE and decide for yourself!  We’d love to meet you there!

moms and mochas

Moms & Mochas – Tuesday, Oct. 4, 8:30AM

We invite all WHCS moms to join us in a time of fellowship and conversation in authentic community. The topic for October is fear. What does that look like for you!  Bring your coffee and gather around the table to share what’s on your heart.

Heads up for November – our guest speaker will be Elisha Joyce, an island girl from Guam who grew up in entertainment and is passionately chasing the heart of Jesus.  She values well chosen words, laughter, authenticity and taking time to discover what makes people uniquely tick.  Elisha is a master story-crafter, an intuitive marketer and a great listener, gifted in pulling out the deepest part of anyone’s story.  She is coming to share her story and purpose with us on November 1st!
